Welcome to GCADV’s Training Site. The Georgia Coalition Against Domestic Violence (GCADV) envisions a Georgia free of domestic violence. We empower survivors and the programs that serve them, we educate the public, and we advocate for responsive public policy. Our strength is in numbers, as we collaborate throughout Georgia to stop domestic violence.

We Support Our Mission By:

  • Fostering quality services for victims by increasing capacity of members and service providers.
  • Mobilizing a statewide voice to increase public policy development that helps victims and prevents DV.
  • Educating the public to take action and prevent domestic violence.

GCADV provides both on-site training to domestic violence programs as well as web-based courses. The web-based courses increase access to continuing education for advocates who cannot attend “live” trainings. This website serves as a hub for our previously recorded webinars (see “online training”) as well as registration for upcoming in-person training and live webinars (see “upcoming trainings”).

Most training provided by GCADV has been approved by the Criminal Justice Coordinating Council for continuing education hours for domestic violence advocates in Georgia. Please see additional information on each course page for the specific types and hours of CE’s available for that particular training.

The target audience for most of GCADV’s training is the staff providing victim services at domestic violence programs. Some trainings are available for multiple disciplines, and details regarding the target audience are available on each training course page. If you have questions about any of our on-site or web-based trainings, please contact us achampion@gcadv.org.
