Protecting survivor confidentiality is foundational to domestic violence advocacy and clearly communicating to a survivor when an advocate must share confidential information is a crucial part of survivor centered advocacy. When advocates need to make a report of child abuse or neglect it can be difficult to balance confidentiality and mandated reporting. This training webinar is designed to help advocates better understand the process and best practices of trauma informed mandated reporting. Topics included in the training are:
· Mandatory reporting laws in GA
· When to make a report and best practices in trauma informed reporting
