With the passage of HB1105, many undocumented survivors of domestic violence are concerned that reporting an incident will expose them to deportation. We support language in our statute that makes it clear that victims who report to law enforcement will not be criminalized.
We ask you to join us to discuss the issue and work together to achieve our mutual goal of strengthening protections for undocumented survivors.
