This interactive training is provided by GCADV staff utilizing lecture, small group activities, role-plays, audiovisuals, and exciting discussion. The training is an excellent opportunity for new advocates to gain a thorough understanding of working with the LGBTQIA survivor of IPV and for experience advocates to enhance their knowledge and skills.

Registration is open to advocates across the state of Georgia currently employed in domestic violence shelters, community based organizations and other municipalities that serve survivors of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV).

GCADV has a VERY LIMITED number of hotel stipends available for a one night stay. Stipends are distributed on a first come-first served basis. In order to apply for a hotel stipend, the registrant must work MORE THAN 240 miles (120 miles one way-240 round trip) from the training location.
